In our efforts to provide exceptional services through our app, there may be instances where the app, when integrated with Appify Hub, transmits sensitive personal information to us. We continuously assess and update our data protection practices to ensure they meet or exceed legal and regulatory requirements and align with best practices in data security and privacy. However, it's important for users to be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Depending on where you are located geographically, the applicable privacy law may mean you have certain rights regarding your personal information. This is explained in more detail in the rest of this notice.
The easiest way to exercise your rights is by contacting us at the email address given in the introduction. We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR require us to explain the valid legal bases we rely on in order to process your personal information. As such, we may rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:
Consent. We may process your information if you have given us permission (i.e. consent) to use your personal information for a specific purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending us a request to do so.
Legitimate Interests. We may process your information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests and those interests do not outweigh your interests and fundamental rights and freedoms. Diagnose problems and/or prevent fraudulent activities
Understand how our users use our products and services so we can improve user experience

You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending us a request to do so.
In some exceptional cases, we may be legally permitted under applicable law to process your information without your consent, including, for example:

For identifying injured, ill, or deceased persons and communicating with next of kin
If we have reasonable grounds to believe an individual has been, is, or may be victim of financial abuse
If it is reasonable to expect collection and use with consent would compromise the availability or the accuracy of the information and the collection is reasonable for purposes related to investigating a breach of an agreement or a contravention of the laws of Canada or a province
If disclosure is required to comply with a subpoena, warrant, court order, or rules of the court relating to the production of records
If it was produced by an individual in the course of their employment, business, or profession and the collection is consistent with the purposes for which the information was produced
If the collection is solely for journalistic, artistic, or literary purposes
If the information is publicly available and is specified by the regulations

Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
Business Partners. We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions. This may include integrations with other apps or services. If you choose to use these integrations, we may share your information with those partners. We will inform you of such integrations to the best of our ability, and provide you with the necessary information to make an informed decision.
Our Services may link to third-party websites, online services, or mobile applications and/or contain advertisements from third parties that are not affiliated with us and which may link to other websites, services, or applications. Accordingly, we do not make any guarantee regarding any such third parties, and we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the use of such third-party websites, services, or applications. The inclusion of a link towards a third-party website, service, or application does not imply an endorsement by us.
We cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of data you provide to any third parties. Any data collected by third parties is not covered by this privacy notice. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties, including other websites, services, or applications that may be linked to or from the Services. You should review the policies of such third parties and contact them directly to respond to your questions.
When other apps and services integrate with our Services, they may transmit data to us. We receive, store, and process only the data necessary to provide the integration and to ensure the integration is working. We do not receive any information from third parties who are unaffiliated with Appify Hub. For more information on how the integrators (apps and websites) are using your data, please refer to their privacy policies.
We may share your information with our affiliated apps and websites, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this privacy notice. Affiliates include our parent organization and/or any subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or other organizations that we control or that are under common control with us.
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. Specific information about how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is explained in the Cookie Notice below.
This Cookie Policy section explains how we use cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our websites at Appify Hub and officially affiliated websites that also link to this policy, ("Websites"). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
In some cases we may use cookies to collect anonymous personal information, or information that becomes personal information if combined with other information.
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Open Digital Services of Appify Hub) are called "first party cookies". Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called "third-party cookies". Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website (e.g. like advertising, interactive content, or analytics). The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognize your computer both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites.
We use first- and third-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Websites to operate, and we refer to these as "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies. Other cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Online Properties. Third parties may serve cookies through our Websites for advertising, analytics and other similar purposes.
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can exercise your cookie rights by setting your preferences in the Cookie Consent Banner on the landing page of our Websites. Essential cookies cannot be rejected as they are strictly necessary to provide you with services.
If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our website though your access to some functionality and areas of our website may be restricted. You may also set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. As the means by which you can refuse cookies through your web browser controls vary from browser to browser, you should visit your browser's help menu for more information. In addition, most advertising networks offer you a way to opt out of targeted advertising.
The specific types of first and third-party cookies served through our Websites and the purposes they perform can be checked on the Cookie Consent Banner and using this tool.
Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website. Very rarely we may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs"). These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable us to recognize when someone has visited our Websites or opened an e-mail including them. This allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within a website to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to the website from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, and to measure the success of e-mail marketing campaigns. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will impair their functioning.
Affiliated Websites may also use so-called "Flash Cookies" (also known as Local Shared Objects or "LSOs") to, among other things, collect and store information about your use of our services, fraud prevention and for other site operations.
If you do not want Flash Cookies stored on your computer, you can adjust the settings of your Flash player to block Flash Cookies storage using the tools contained in the Website Storage Settings Panel . You can also control Flash Cookies by going to the Global Storage Settings Panel and following the instructions (which may include instructions that explain, for example, how to delete existing Flash Cookies (referred to "information" on the Macromedia site), how to prevent Flash LSOs from being placed on your computer without your being asked, and (for Flash Player 8 and later) how to block Flash Cookies that are not being delivered by the operator of the page you are on at the time).
Please note that setting the Flash Player to restrict or limit acceptance of Flash Cookies may reduce or impede the functionality of some Flash applications, including, potentially, Flash applications used in connection with our services or online content.
Third-parties may serve cookies on your computer or mobile device to serve advertising through our Websites. These companies may use information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services that you may be interested in. They may also employ technology that is used to measure the effectiveness of advertisements. This can be accomplished by them using cookies or web beacons to collect information about your visits to this and other sites in order to provide relevant advertisements about goods and services of potential interest to you. The information collected through this process does not enable us or them to identify your name, contact details or other details that directly identify you unless you choose to provide these.
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Please therefore re-visit this Cookie Notice regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies.
The date at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when it was last updated.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
Post-deletion of your account or after and opt-out request, we will ensure deletion of your personal information within 30 days.
We implement appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
Yes, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt the connection between your device and our servers. This connection is secure and encrypted, and we use it to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee that all data transmissions over the Internet are secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your data while it is being transmitted to our Services via your router, modem, ISP, or other third party network providers.
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us immediately.
In some regions (like the EEA, UK, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (1) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (2) to request rectification or erasure; (3) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (4) if applicable, to data portability. In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information. You can make such a request by contacting us using the contact details provided.
We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
If you are located in the EEA or UK, and you believe we are willingly and unlawfully processing your personal information, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. You can find more information about such authorities on this page .
If you are located in Switzerland, find more information about such authorities on this page.
If you are located in Canada, you have the right to access your personal information and request that we correct, amend, or delete it if it is inaccurate or incomplete. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us using the contact information provided.
If you are located in California, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The following sections describe your CCPA rights and explain how to exercise those rights.
If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/or clearly implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided.
However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal, nor when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:
Use the log-in mechanism to gain access to your account, then update your account information
Contact us using the contact information provided
Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.
Most Web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies. If you choose to remove cookies or reject cookies, this could affect certain features or services of our Services. To opt out of interest-based advertising by advertisers on our Services, refer to the instructions provided in the Cookie Notice.
If you have further questions or comments about your privacy rights, you may contact us at the contact details provided in this Privacy Policy.
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy. In the meantime, we advise you to use an ad-blocker or a VPN.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below.
If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with Services, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Services.
